Who needs sharks? Not this socially conscious founder

L ast fall, Liz Forkin Bohannon filmed an episode of ABC's "Shark Tank" pitching her footwear and accessory company Sseko Designs.

She didn't strike any deals on the show, but she did walk away with a strong sense of the kind of investor she wanted.

By the time the show aired last month she had secured the seed round she was pitching the Sharks last September.
